Before boarding: your crossing guide

There are journeys that begin before reaching the destination. When crossing between Salvador and Morro de São Paulo, the first step is to organize the boarding details.

1. Check the direction and date

Check the reference departure times on this website. Regular departures are at 10:30am from Salvador and at 1:30pm from Morro de São Paulo. In high season, there are additional departures at 8:30am from Salvador and at 2:30pm from Morro. Availability and conditions must be checked for your date.

2. Know where you are coming from

In Salvador, boarding takes place in Terminal Turístico Náutico da Bahia. The address is Av. da França, s/n, Comércio, in front of Mercado Modelo.

3. Organize arrival

Check the ticket for the presentation time and booking instructions. Consider traffic and travel to the terminal before leaving.

4. Separate the essentials

Leave your document, ticket and items that will be used during the crossing in an accessible bag. For luggage, children or animals, confirm the rules with customer service before purchasing.

5. Follow the operation

The crossing takes, on average, between 2h and 2h30. Navigation depends on sea conditions and guidance from the Captaincy. In case of change, the team informs you of the available alternatives.
